  • Launch publicity campaign, educate public to the needs of PTSD/MI patients, and our solutions
  • Develop funding through corporate sponsors, grants, and public donation
  • Obtain "best practice" information from similar organizations

PHASE 2 - Compound Renovation Plan

  • Secure funding through grants, and public donation
  • Develop feedback form(online/paper) for initial guests
  • Renovate three (3) initial compound buildings:
  • Main Lodge/Dining Room/Kitchen/BR/BA Building: This central hub will serve as the heart of our facility, housing the dining area and kitchen.
  • Compound Support Shop/Maintenance Building: This structure will house the necessary facilities for maintenance and support of our entire compound.
  • Initial Guest Cabin (Standard ADA): This cabin is designed for PTSD guest-patients and their immediate family, ensuring accessibility with standard ADA features.

  • Determine initial equipment needs, compound vehicles, and maintenance machines
  • Set up live webcams and weather station on compound property
  • Design daily programs and links to local PTSD/MI resources and events
  • Develop online reservation system and availability calendar
  • Hire support staff for housekeeping and maintenance

PHASE 4 - Commence Day-to-day Operations

  • Press Release of first guests "Grand Opening", add to web site
  • Grand Opening launch!
  • Report initial operation attendance stats/cost data to the Board of Directors and for IRS records
  • Design farm layout in compound and identify resources to help maintain it for crops/livestock

PHASE 5 - Develop Small Scale Working Farm

  • Clear fields for limited crops
  • Construct fencing for pasture and hog pens
  • Hire support and get volunteer staff for farming
  • Construct chicken house and barn

PHASE 6 - Additional Cabin Construction

  • Construct eight (8) additional Guest Cabins using feedback from initial guests on how to improve the overall cabin design:
  • 8 - Additional Guest Cabins for PTSD/MI guest-patients and their immediate family with standard ADA level

PHASE 7 - Develop "Trails of Honor"

  • Launch "Operation, Pave the Way", where guest-patients commemorate and honor a comrade lost in the line of duty.
